Christina Holtz is the founder of Bay Paws Pet Resort and Bay Paws Hospetality. Christina created and designed the Bay Paws brand and facilities. Christina has lived in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. Prior to Bay Paws, Christina was an attorney for seven years. Mom to dachshunds Wrigley and Bentley, Christina understands the pet parent perspective of taking your fur baby to a pet facility and works diligently to ensure that Bay Paws provides both the best pet parent and pet experience.

BENTLEY NOODLES
Chief of Small Doggy Daycare
Born and raised with a badger hunting heritage, Bentley uses his nose and little paws efficiently and diligently to explore every inch of the daycare yard. He works hard and makes proper use of his big, round puppy eyes by demanding attention from other dogs and the daycare attendants.
WRIGLEY HUDSON
Chief Treat and Toy Inspector
Wrigley has extensive and rich experience in toy testing and treat tasting. With delicate palate and vast understanding of flavor, no one is better suited for this job than Wrigley. In addition, he is specific and holds high standards to all toys that go through his inspection. Wrigley is highly experienced in both fields.
Maggie Brown
VP of Operations
Maggie joined the Bay Paws team in 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep passion for animal care. She began her career in animal husbandry within the zoo world before transitioning to veterinary medicine, where she spent over 13 years expertly managing both emergency and general practice settings. Originally from Colorado, Maggie relocated to Florida in 2023 with her husband and their four children. A natural leader, she is dedicated to fostering growth and development in her team, helping others unlock their full potential. Maggie’s love for animals extends beyond the workplace—she shares her home with three dogs, two cats, and two reptiles, reflecting her lifelong commitment to animal welfare.
Wendy Shaw
Director of Training
Wendy joined the Bay Paws pack in January 2024 as the Ybor General Manager and is now the Director of Training. She is very excited to be a part of an amazing team and can't wait to grow with the company! Wendy’s credentials include over twenty-five years as a certified dog trainer with specialties in behavior & aggression. She is also a certified instructor for Pet CPR & first aid. Wendy has managed and/or consulted in the pet industry including vet clinics for over twenty years for over a thousand facilities specializing in building team culture and skill development. Wendy shares her home with her two Australian Shepherds Cedar & Onyx and her two cats Willow & Baloo.
